PCA: Alvelar polycarbonate
Alvelar polycarbonate is a product with high mechanical and impact resistance. It is only used in the “X” section which guarantees unaltered deforma- tion of the thickness used during thermoforming. The insulating properties of the multi walls contribute to high thermal insulation which characterizes the “U” value of thermal transmutation of domes and skylights.
High snow capacity is achieved thanks to the very conformation of the honeycombs themselves. The product is ame retardant and does not propa- gate ames. Standard colours: opal (milky white), transparent.
Colours on request: brown/smoky grey.

PCC: Compact polycarbonate
Compact polycarbonate is typically used in thicknesses of 2/3/4 mm. Its main feature is high impact resistance. Its lower insulating value determines the combination of various thicknesses (or shells). It must be combined with at honeycomb slabs to achieve very ef cient “U” values.
The product is ame retardant and does not propagate ames. Standard colours: opal (milky white), transparent. Colours on request: brown/smoky grey.

PMMA: Polymethylmethacrylate
Extruded methacrylate has excellent optical and light transmission characteristics. The product can be used in the traditional form in thicknesses of 3/4 mm. As it is highly fragile to impact (hail), elastomers can be added to it to make the surface more resistant.
It is also highly ammable and the thermal resistance values require the pairing of multiple shells or combinations with alvelar PC. Standard colours: opal (milky white), transparent.
